Frequently asked questions about our deck railing installation service
It is a national requirement that all decks higher than 30” above the ground have a guardrail. If your deck is below 30” from the ground, you must still follow building code requirements.

You don’t need a permit to install or build your deck railings. But, if you are building the deck and the railings you will need a permit.
